Travel by Car
Leave Junction 36 of the M6 and travel along the A591 towards Windermere, taking the A590 signposted to the Lake District Peninsulas. At the Lindale roundabout, take the B5277 to Grange-over-Sands and Allithwaite. Detailed directions are provided on booking.
Travel by Air, Rail or Bus
Manchester Airport is the largest regional airport. Other services in the North West run from Liverpool and Blackpool.
Some trains directly connect Manchester Airport with Grange-over-Sands (2hrs). This station is 2 miles from The Hayloft.
Some trains stop at Kents Bank station which is even closer (1 mile). Both local stations are located on the Cumbrian Coast Line, which connects Lancaster with Carlisle via a stunning train journey.
Connections to the main West Coast Line are made at Lancaster to London Euston (2hrs 30mns), Glasgow (2hrs) and Edinburgh (2hrs 15mns). Connections at Carnforth are made to Leeds (1hr 45mns).
