The following are comments from our Visitor Book at The Hayloft:

The Brooks from Vale of Glamorgan, Fri. 7 November 2008
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at The Hayloft. It's lovely! Cost but roomy at the same time. We would love to come again soon - that's how relaxing we found it. Well done on making the cottage so comfortable and welcoming.
The Taylor Party from Oxfordshire, Sat. 6 September 2008
Great location to explore Lakes and fells – table tennis fab entertainment on wet evenings…Cosy cottage with all we needed to hand – many thanks.
The Sims from Sudbury, Suffolk, Sat. 2 August 2008
A beautiful cosy house, well maintained and in an ideal location for seeing the sights.
The Simpsons from Aberdeen, Scotland, Sat. 5 July 2008
We’ve done lots of self catering cottages and this is definitely one of the best. We enjoyed the table tennis, the garden complete with fountain and indoors so many little things which go to make a fantastic holiday cottage.
The Greers from Northampton, Northamptonshire, Sat. 12 April 2008
Beautiful cottage, ideal place for exploring the Lakes. Pub on the doorstep, dogs and children allowed – what more could you ask for?
The McClements Party from Newark, Nottinghamshire, Sat. 19 January 2008
Came here to house-hunt but didn’t find anywhere as beautiful as this! Such a lovely place with every home comfort you could possibly want and perfect for the dogs.
The Tafts from Warwickshire, Sat. 29 December 2007
Beautiful house, very tastefully decorated. Just the place to spend at Christmas. Many thanks for the seasonal dressing and welcome gifts!
The Crowes from Scotland, Sat. 1 December 2007

The Gregorys from Farnham, Surrey, Sat. 4 August 2007
The patio is a lovely suntrap and a great place for a barbecue. The Jacuzzi is a nice place to soothe aching muscles after climbing Scafell Pike!
The Gladmans from Leeds, Yorkshire, Sat. 21 July 2007
Couldn’t have wished for a better property, excellent facilities and all ages suited for. As Arnie said, “I’ll be back”.
The Maplestons from Staines, Surrey, Sat. 14 July 2007
Excellent place with all mod cons, games room is a particularly nice touch. Also very cycling friendly with lots of storage space.
The Wilson Party from Saltburn-by-Sea, Cleveland, Fri. 25 May 2007
The internal fixtures and fitting have been sensitively chosen and enhance the beauty of the Hayloft conversion. Excellent local walks, made known to us by way of the superb files supplied in the cottage.
The Elsons from Midlothian, Scotland, Sat. 12 May 2007
A beautiful part of the Lakes, away from the main tourist traps – affording a great week’s break and a peaceful rest – many thanks
The Browns from Northamptonshire, Mon. 26 March 2007
By far the most beautifully appointed holiday cottage we have ever been in. It is most obvious that no expense has been spared in the conversion of the building.
The Joneses from North Wales, Thu. 1 March 2007
Absolutely beautiful cottage! The pictures on the Internet site don’t do it justice!
The Rees-Hugheses from Warminster, Wiltshire, Mon. 1 January 2007
A beautiful converted barn with wonderful character enhancing attention to detail…There was plenty of space to spend quality time together but with enough space to get away from each other too!
